This recruitment will remain open until filled. This is a regular full-time position to provide professional leadership as an advanced therapist and supervisor for programs providing services for children and adolescents with severe mental health needs and alcohol and other drug abuse problems. Duties will include responsibility for program evaluation, teaching professional techniques and skills, and providing consultation and information around activities encompassing a wide spectrum of community agencies and professional disciplines in addition to providing primary clinical and administrative supervision to the Human Services staff including case load assignments, providing leadership assistance to the Program Manager.
The successful candidate must have, or be able to obtain, credentials as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and must be able to identify precipitating events, gather family histories, social and work relationship assessments, conduct mental status examinations, document a five-axis diagnosis, write and implement treatment plans, conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, and provide individual, family, and group therapy.
The position requires a Master’s degree or Ph.D. from an accredited professional school and five years’ post-graduate experience in the specialty area or ten years’ experience as a Human Services Specialist or its equivalent in addition to experience and leadership and/or supervisory roles. Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT) credentials are preferred. Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
Full salary range: $4418- $5647/month, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, health savings, paid leaves, paid holidays, PERS and deferred compensation options.
