Safety Coordinator
Description
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the SICP safety department. Completes safety data collection, reporting and analytics for department as needed. Support SICP Safety Training as a resource and may substitute in training sessions. Assist with various safety projects as assigned.

Establish and maintain record keeping and filing systems, including classifying, sorting and filing correspondence, safety committee notes and other documents.

Manage incident information in company supported work related injury database, upload information into the system along with generating necessary reports.

Establish and maintain a process for coordination and reporting of safety compliance related training.

Deliver safety training topics to SICP employees as a back-up resource.

Provide employee assistance with footwear and prescription eyewear issues.

Reviews and files miscellaneous safety checklists.

Coordinate completion and maintenance of Job Safety Analysis
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Required, Associates Degree preferred in related field
- 1 - 3 years experience in Business Administration
- Knowledge - Exceptional with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Knowledgeable with basic safety programs and processes.
- Ability to provide safety training to various audiences.
