COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR
Wake County Smart Start, a local non-profit dedicated to ensuring children, ages birth to five, are prepared for success in school and life, has an open position for a full-time Community Outreach Coordinator.
The major areas of focus for this position include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Implementing community outreach and engagement strategies
- Supporting access to early childhood programs
- Supporting community awareness and opportunities for raising family voices
- Distributing outreach materials in collaboration with Communications Department
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or related field from a college or university; and three (3) years related experience and/or training in community outreach, family support or early childhood education; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Spanish fluency preferred
