Faculty - Finance
The University of Mount Olive, Tillman School of Business (TSB) invites applications for a 9-month, full-time, Finance Faculty position.
The Tillman School of Business (TSB) undergraduate programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Finance is one of several areas that compose the business core in TSB. Finance courses are taught in the following formats: Traditional seated, non-traditional seated in evenings at 7 locations, and online (graduate and undergraduate).
Position Description:
Preference will be given to applicants that have qualifications that enable them to teach in areas of finance and experience and/or certifications that allow application of data analytics and problem-solving skills in those areas. The ideal candidate will be interested in research as well as applying what he/she teaches. Responsibilities include teaching a combination of undergraduate and graduate MBA courses in finance and related subject areas, four courses in fall and spring semesters, respectively. Faculty are required to be contributing members of the department, school and university.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master of Finance or other Master degree with 18 hours in finance.
- Degree(s) must be from regionally accredited institution(s). Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or DBA in finance or related field.
- Industry/professional experience strongly preferred. Compensation and Academic Rank: Commensurate with education and experience.
