Position available at UNC Physicians Network, LLC d/b/a UNC Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Clayton, NC & Smithfield, NC to assist & work w/ Physicians (orthopaedic surgeons) to provide orthopaedic health care services to patients w/in scope of practice for licensed Physician Assistant. Reqs: Master's degree in Health & Sciences w/ completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or frgn degree equiv. 1 yr of clinical exp. practicing as Physician Assistant in the field of Orthopaedics (incld'g the following skills: first assist at surgeries, hospital rounding, splinting & casting, small/large joint injections & aspirations & sideline coverage for local high school sports teams). National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) Certification. North Carolina Physician Assistant license. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (BCLS). Req'd to travel to 3 work locations in Clayton, NC & Smithfield, NC. Emp't subject to normal screening/testing & hospital allied health privileging process.
