Maintenance Technician (Light General Maintenance/Custodial Duties)
The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing general maintenance on one facilities; a male resident work training release program that houses incarcerated individuals preparing to reenter the community. The position will perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance duties including but not limited to basic electrical, basic plumbing, general sheet rock repair, patching and painting walls, general janitorial duties, waxing/buffing floors, and cleaning carpets.
Valid drivers license required and must be able to pass a background check.
Requires a HS diploma or GED. Must be available flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays and on call after hours

40 hours of paid vacation after 1 year of service, increasing to 80 hours of vacation after 2 years of service.
Paid sick leave accruing at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
