Maintenance Worker (Electrical Experience Preferred)
Maintenance Worker
Functions:
Performs necessary tasks to maintain and improve physical appearance and operation of agency buildings and other duties as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Engages in overall maintenance activities, inside and outside, performs major repairs and/or renovations, assures safety in work areas, plans and lists materials necessary for assigned projects, operates power tools and equipment used in performing duties. Required Experience: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and three years in maintenance.
Organizational Relationships:
Works under the direction and supervision of the Maintenance Lead. Performs assigned projects and directs Maintenance I and/or II workers when assigned them, and works cooperatively with other staff to achieve best results.
Requirements:
- High School or equivalent or three years experience in at least one of the following: general maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Have knowledge in use and care of all tools and equipment used in performing duties
- Clean and valid NYS Driver’s License
