LPN-Health Coordinator
LPN needed to work with seniors and adults with disabilities in an Adult Day Program located in Cary, NC. The Primary Functions of this position are: - Perform skilled nursing tasks; - Monitor medical needs of participants; - Maintain accurate documentation for Total Life Center participants; - Provide training and supervision to Total Life Center and Resources for Seniors, Inc. staff. The qualified candidate will have proven successful experience in: - Conducting health assessments; - Knowledge of the physical and emotional aspects of aging; - One year experience in the provision of activities and services, preferably with impaired adults; - One year experience with personal care and creating care plans; - Assisting participants with daily living activities (toileting, feeding, transferring, and bathing, etc.). Additional qualifications required: - Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license through the North Carolina Board of Nursing; - Certification in CPR and First Aid training. The ideal candidate should be flexible, patient, and available to work in a team environment with minimal supervision Monday-Friday, no nights or weekends. The Health Coordinator is classified as a full time, salaried, non-exempt position with a generous benefit package.
