w/ Red Hat, Inc. in Raleigh, NC. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed w/in normal commuting distance from the Red Hat, Inc. office in Raleigh, NC. Dvlp, test, & deploy Kubernetes & OpenShift microservices using Kafka streaming techs, incl Confluent Kafka APIs. Dvlp, test, & deploy Kafka streaming apps used to test & verify data accuracy & throughput. Positn reqs a Bach deg (U.S. or foreign equiv) in Comp  Sci, Comp Engg or rel field & 5 yrs of exp in the job offered or rel role. Must have 3 yrs of exp w/: Python app dvlpmnt; Apache Kafka support & dvlpmnt; OpenShift Containerization Platform & Kubernetes; job scheduling technologies incl  Airflow & Luigi; API dvlpmnt & testing; and Unit Testing frameworks. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Kafka streaming app dvlpmnt; ETL dvlpmnt; Git CI & CD methodologies & techs; database techs incl MongoDB, MariaDB, NoSQL, & MySQL & SQLite; & shell scripting.
