Senior Data Center Network Engineer

 w/ Red Hat, Inc. in Raleigh, NC *Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed w/in normal commuting distance from the Red Hat, Inc. office in Raleigh, NC.  Contribute to network operation optimization efforts incl performance analyzing & trouble remediation. Responsible for implementing new or augmenting of existing network infrastructure. Position reqs a Bach deg (U.S. or foreign equiv) in Comp Sci, Electrical Engg or rel field & 5 yrs of exp in the job offered or rel role. Must have 5 yrs of exp w/ key network admin, incl designing, building, & validating IP networks across different vendors & topologies. Must have 3 yrs of exp w/: network architectures incl core, distribution, & access versus spine & leaf, as well as across the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) stack; Layer 2 protocols, incl spanning tree, link aggregation, VLANs, 802.1q, & multi-chassis link support; firewall appliance. Must have 3 yrs of networking exp incl LAN, WAN, switching & routing, IP, TCP, VPN, & AAA protocols. Must have 1 yr of exp w/: DC architecture & technologies, as well as cloud connectivity techs; routing protocols incl EVPN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, & static routing; & app delivery infrastructure & load balancing & clustering, incl F5.
