w/ Red Hat, Inc. Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S. Sell open-source enterprise sftwr subscriptions & services to large, often multi-regional, clients in the financial svces industry by providing leadership to the sales team, incl  reps from solution architecture, consulting, mktg, back-office, & product specialist teams. Position reqs a Bach deg (U.S. or foreign equiv) in Bus Admin, Commerce or rel field & 5 yrs   of exp  in the job offered or rel  role. Must have 5 yrs of exp w/: collaborating w / & providing leadership to cross functional teams; the complete enterprise IT sales cycle, incl the nurturing of an opportunity from identification to closure; open-source tech & how to leverage Open Source in an enterprise selling context; selling to enterprise customers both on direct contracts & through channel partners; & deal structuring, competitive positioning, handling customer objections, & product & solution & common use patterns. Must have 4 yrs of exp w/: consultative customer engagement w/ a major enterprise sftwr company; selling sftwr subscriptions rel  to open-source sftwr in an enterprise IT environment w/ multi competing offerings & services; forecast sales pipeline & bringing opportunities to closure in accordance w/ specific goals & performance metrics; & successful quota attainment & delivering results w/in firm time constraints. Must have 4 yrs of sales exp w/ cloud, automation, middleware, & emerging techs used in enterprise datacenters. Dom & internat’l travel reqd up to 20% of the time for customer meetings, client sites & conferences. Travel expenses covered by Red Hat, Inc. Sal: $182,624 - $207,530/ yr.
