The Project Manager manages cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs on time, within budget, and with quality results. Responsible for the oversight, planning, organizing, and monitoring of one or more projects to meet defined requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides status updates and metrics to management throughout the project and facilitates a post-mortem at the close of the project and compiles lessons learned for management
- Ensures that the project plan and processes are followed throughout the project; negotiating with key stakeholders should modifications to the plan become necessary
- Organize projects according to our device development SOPs and Quality Management System
- Delivers the project on time and within a set budget; obtains approval on schedule and/or budgetary revisions needed
- Develops mitigation ideas and works to have strategies in place should issues arise
- Resolves conflict within the project team
- Issues status reports and communication to management throughout the project.
- Review the Statement of Work (SOW), the budget and the expectations for the project
- Monitors resources for adherence to plan (budget, schedule, etc.) by utilizing resource tools and reports to determine that resources are within boundaries
- Anticipate and manage project risks and issues, and provide specific mitigation and corrective action strategies
- Continually ensures project resources are sufficient in terms of numbers and performance; submits requests for additional resources as needed
Business Acumen:
- Understands the creation and language associated with contracts
- Ability to balance the needs of the project, resources and the client expectations not only from a technical perspective, but also from the business perspective
Education/Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required – ME, EE, Physics
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Project Management or similar position, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Pharmaceutical cGMP and/or medical device cGMP preferred
- Specific knowledge of MS Project.
- Cross-functional experience with knowledge of Operations and cost analysis preferred.
- Demonstrated team management and participation skills.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects, concurrently
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and other Project Management tools
- Ability to adapt to new processes, systems, tools and environments
- Knowledgeable of quality and regulatory support within a medical device manufacturing company, including new product development, CAPA and Complaint management, etc.; must understand how quality and regulatory resources are used within a medical device organization
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
Experience:
- Medical Device: 5 years (Required)
- Pharma Industry: 5 years (Required)
- Project Management: 3 years (Preferred)
