Vice President, Instruction/Chief Academic Officer
Requires Master’s degree from regionally accredited institution and minimum three years administrative experience at division chair or dean level at community college; commitment to innovative and quality instruction; possess strong interpersonal skills; have understanding and commitment to use of technology to enhance student learning and support a strong program of professional development for faculty and staff; leadership style collegial, approachable, and accessible; strong computer skills in MS Office. Serves as chief academic officer responsible for educational policy and academic programs including, but not limited to, program review and improvement, accreditation and self-evaluation, assessment of student learning and advancement of student success, academic personnel decisions, budget development, fiscal accountability, program and curriculum development, and the encouragement and improvement of teaching and learning. Salary: $90,000-$108,000 for 12-month position with benefits.
