Data Analyst:
- Responsible for management of department Performance Improvement
- Abstraction of data for performance improvement, COPD data, patient readmissions, and other projects.
- Manages department API, absenteeism reports, on call pay schedule
- Input and extraction of CATS competency information
- Monitors daily charges in department revenue analysis
- Supply inventory and ordering in PeopleSoft, and Staples
- Takes and transcribes meeting minutes
- Create monthly PowerPoint of Huddle information
- Answers the phone and directs calls
- Sends out communication letters to patients and staff
- Conducts follow up patient calls
- Deliver equipment and supplies where needed
- Assist with special projects
- Manages department incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintains spreadsheets for multiple data projects
- Reports appropriate information to department leadership
- Timely electronic data entry and submission of data to vendor for CMS/ core measures
- Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
- Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
- Associate Degree in related field or licensed clinical professional highly desired.
- Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required.
- Excellent data entry skills with the ability to complete accurately.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Ability to work with intricate details, figures, and large volumes of data to produce reports.
- Working knowledge of computer and software programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and use of fax and copier.
