Data Analyst:
  • Responsible for management of department Performance Improvement
  • Abstraction of data for performance improvement, COPD data, patient readmissions, and other projects.
  • Manages department API, absenteeism reports, on call pay schedule
  • Input and extraction of CATS competency information
  • Monitors daily charges in department revenue analysis
  • Supply inventory and ordering in PeopleSoft, and Staples
  • Takes and transcribes meeting minutes
  • Create monthly PowerPoint of Huddle information
  • Answers the phone and directs calls
  • Sends out communication letters to patients and staff
  • Conducts follow up patient calls
  • Deliver equipment and supplies where needed
  • Assist with special projects
  • Manages department incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintains spreadsheets for multiple data projects
Reporting:
  • Reports appropriate information to department leadership
  • Timely electronic data entry and submission of data to vendor for CMS/ core measures
Regulation:
  • Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
  • Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in related field or licensed clinical professional highly desired.
  • Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required.
  • Excellent data entry skills with the ability to complete accurately.
  • Medical terminology preferred.
  • Ability to work with intricate details, figures, and large volumes of data to produce reports.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and use of fax and copier.
