Technical Marketing Engineer

NetApp, Inc. has openings for the position of Technical Marketing Engineer in Durham, NC. Job duties for the position include drawing upon technical background to facilitate the sales of NetApp data storage products, with a particular emphasis on Cloud Volume Service for Google, Azure NetApp Files, and Kubernetes product offerings. The position requires a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer engineering, computer networking, engineering, or a related technical field. Must have the following skill set (evidenced by graduate-level coursework or prior work experience): containers and container orchestrators, including Kubernetes and OpenShift; automation technologies, including Ansible, Python, and Linux scripting; GO language; technical content generation; performing root cause analysis on issues reported by users and assisting with the prioritization of customer bugs and requests; and technical evaluations and proofs of concept for consumption of upstream features and scoping development effort.
