Field Service Manager
Linxon US LLC seeks Field Service Manager in Raleigh, NC: Define guidelines for Site teams and ensures implementation; Develop procedures within the area of Field services; Provide technical and strategic guidance and ensure resolution of technical issues for field service activities; Lead a team of Site Managers, Engineers and Technicians; Develop and implement strategic field service plans, training programs, schedules, and budgets; Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards; Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work progress; Manage inventory, tools, and equipment to support field service operations; Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs); Interface with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle; Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation; Monitor and resolve warranty claims from previous projects; Supervision of five (5) employees.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related occupation, the employer will accept any suitable combination of education and experience in job offered or related occupation. Knowledge of: Safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices relevant to field service operations; EHV, HV, MV and HVDC Substation Design, commissioning and Installation; Digital Substation Technology; High voltage network schemes and SAS operating systems; Technical software including: PLC’s/IED’s (ABB, SIEMENS Digsi V3, V4, V5. MiCOM & SEL IEDs), PCM600, CAP540, Digsi, AcSELeretor, Agile, MR Suite, SIGRA, Wavewin; Management software including: MS Visio, MS Project, Primavera P6, PIMS, ETab, MicroStation. National travel required 70% of the time. May be assigned to unanticipated work locations.
