Direct Support Professional

Kaleo Supports is looking for committed, caring, and creative people to work with individuals who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.  Currently, we are looking for people in the Triangle area.  Duties include assisting our people with daily living skills, such as cooking, bathing, home management, budgeting, etc.  Other duties include teaching skills such as social, emotional, and daily living.  Our people actively participate in the community.  They have jobs.  They exercise at gyms. They volunteer. Our job is to help them participate in lives of their choosing.  Kaleo Support's services are intentional, providing opportunities for people to grow.  We provide TRAINING!!!

Wanted staff who will assist a young woman with cerebral who resides in her home.  Duties include assisting with stretching, personal care, daily living activities such as cooking, etc., and managing and upkeep of the home.  The young woman runs a non-profit organization so she also gets supported employment.  Staff will assist her with her work duties.  

We are looking for committed, dependable people who can support this young woman in her life, by providing personal care assistance, but encouraging her as she lives her life!  She has friends. She works.  She likes to go out.  She lives in her own home.  She is a young woman living her dream!  She is a delight to work with.
