Child Development Center Float Teacher
Monday-Friday, 9am-2pm
Will include benefits of Health, Dental, PTO & Life Ins, & 403(b) Account.
Responsible for teaching children within the Child Development Center, maintaining the overall health, safety, and growth in the center while reflecting the Jeremiah mission, encompassing the values, vision, and purpose of the program.
Responsibilities include:
Developing the intellectual, emotional and physical growth of children; ensuring the physical and emotional safety of the center; maintaining records as required by DHS and collaborating with parents and cross-team members to ensure the growth of children. The Float position will require working in various classrooms ranging from infants to four-year-olds based on the needs of the Child Development Center.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain an environment that stimulates and is conducive to learning by developing lesson plans to ensure class progress.
* Maintain all applicable regulatory requirements; leverage of volunteers.
Required Qualifications:
* Meet/maintain lead teacher qualifications.
* Comprehensive knowledge of current child development practices.
* Passion for Jeremiah Program mission & values.
