Site Reliability Engineer – Senior Leader, IBM Corporation, Research Triangle Park, NC (Up to 60% telecommuting permitted): Lead team to define transformation strategy from operations to SRE team. Provide expertise and insights to projects during ideation phase where needed before handing off to project team for execution. Drive major projects. Define roadmaps and milestones for projects handled in quarterly basis. Develop Jira plan and dashboards and follow up iteration by iteration until completion. Handle resolution of blockers, escalation, provisioning of resources and change in plans. Meet with stakeholders and customer teams to communication and agree on plans. Document plans for maintenance, schedules and status. Utilize: Kubernetes, Red Hat Openshift, Terraform, Ansible, DevOps, New Relic and Continuous Integration - Continues Deployment. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Kubernetes, Red Hat Openshift, Terraform, Ansible, DevOps, New Relic and Continuous Integration - Continues Deployment.
