Senior Cloud Architect, IBM Corporation, Research Triangle Park, NC: Lead the creation of a technology framework and provide technical leadership in support of pricing systems initiatives in cloud computing and automation, with a focus on the design of systems and services that run on cloud platforms. Report into the CIO pricing organization. Involve in the Cloud- DevOps effort to provide architectural leadership and best practices. Ensure that critical applications are designed and optimized for high availability and disaster recovery. Support a portfolio of business-critical applications, provide reference price, quote, and cost data to internal pricers, financial analysts, sellers, and business partners globally. Engage in infusing AI into the application portfolio and accelerate automation, modernization, and cloud adoption and thereby driving the strategic goal to increase competitiveness and win rates of company offerings, streamline internal data processing, and reduce approval layers and cycle time. Utilize: OpenShift Container Platform, IBM Cloud Pack powered by Artificial Intelligent (AI) software, DevOps Automation Architecture, Micro Service Architecture in Spring Boot (Java), Python, NodeJS and Golang, IBM DB2, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, Angular, React and IBM Carbon Design System, IBM Garage Methods. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as an Application Architect or related.
