The successful applicant will join the laboratory of Dr. Syed A Shah within McGuire Research Institute VA. We will be focusing on targeting receptors on T cells with cognate ligands on corresponding tumors and cancer stem cells to mechanistically understand the tenets associated with tumor regression and T cell survival in context of these poorly understood pathways of cellular cross talk.
Candidates should have a MS /PhD, with a preferable good understanding of immunology and technical experience in cellular immunology, molecular biology and preferably murine immunology. Applicant should be proficient in cell culture techniques, western blots, qPCR, FACS analysis, viral transductions and gene knockdown.
