NOTICE OF VACANT POSITION

Applications are being accepted for the following vacancy on the Faculty staff for the Fall 2018 semester.

Instructor – Architectural, Construction, and Civil & Engineering Technologies HV-FAC-471

Full Time Tenure Track

 

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be considered an applicant for this position, you must meet the minimum qualifications as stated in this announcement. Please note: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Appointment will be contingent upon completion of a physical and background check.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field. Licensing is preferred. Master’s Degree may be in Technology Education. Additionally, applicant must have a minimum of two years teaching experience or related experience. The applicant should have knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software. Emphasis in the area of design, hand and Photoshop, computer aided drafting and electrical systems, Building Code.     

Duties and Responsibilities: The Instructor reports to the Department Chairperson of Construction, Industrial and Mechanical Technologies and performs the following duties:

  • Provide classroom instruction in Architectural Construction, Civil and Mechanical Engineering technology courses.
  • Evaluate student performance.
  • Participation on departmental, division wide and college wide committee for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged and supported..
  • At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.
