Poultry Segment Manager

You secure a dominant position in the global poultry feed market
As our new Poultry Segment Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating on a global scale and taking the lead in the global poultry market. Functioning as segment team leader, you will join the global Strategic Marketing team reporting directly to the Vice President. With overall responsibility for the product side of HAMLET PROTEIN’s global poultry segment strategy, development and execution, your focus will be to deliver on our growth strategy by balancing people and performance. Your responsibilities will also include:

• Managing the poultry product positioning and value proposition on a global level
• Setting direction for future innovations in collaboration with R&D
• Optimizing and managing product launch processes
• Providing ongoing support and training to the sales and application teams as well as select customers and distributors
• Driving cross-regional poultry teamwork

Management experience combined with solid poultry know-how
You have a degree in Agricultural Science, Poultry Nutrition, Health, Production or Breeding, as well as an impressive track record in management of poultry production or feed application – preferably in an international environment and in a leadership role. This has given you a profound understanding of the challenges faced by modern poultry producers and experience in positioning feed products towards these needs.

As a person, you are a lateral thinker, team player and extra miler. You are highly driven and self-motivated, and you possess a strong commercial and strategic mindset combined with great analytical skills and an ability to balance many different tasks and issues at any given time. Moreover, you have excellent communication skills in English and an exceptional ability and motivation to develop, coordinate and work across a global organization and on an international level.

Whether you choose to work from our U.S. headquarters in Findlay, Ohio, our Danish headquarters in Horsens, Denmark, or from your U.S.- or European-based home office, you should expect to spend 25-50% of your time on business travel both domestic and international.
