Limited Term Lecturers - Communication
GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY - College of Arts and Sciences, invites applications for non-tenure, Limited Term Lecturer and Limited Term Instructor faculty positions for the 2018-2019 academic year, effective August 2018 (Fall Semester). Limited Term faculty positions are defined as full-time faculty positions of one academic year duration. Appointments may be renewable for up to two years of full-time employment and include benefits. Positions are contingent upon budgetary approval and may offer the possibility of Summer 2019 employment with benefits. An offer of employment will be conditional upon background verification. The Department of Communication anticipates hiring Limited Term Lecturers/Instructors to teach undergraduate courses in interpersonal communication, public speaking, applied graphic communication, public relations, news writing, mass communication research, and government reporting. Preference will be given to those with appropriate teaching and professional experience. For Limited Term Instructors, an M.A. is required by August 1, 2018. For Limited Term Lecturers, a Ph.D. or other appropriate terminal degree is required by August 1, 2018. Review of applications will begin May 1 and continue until the positions are filled.
