Systems Engineer

Elon University is seeking a Systems Engineer. This position is responsible for daily operations of heterogeneous computing environment comprising of servers running Stand-alone and Virtual infrastructure and key associated services (AD, DNS, DHCP, Federated identity management systems, etc.). Duties will include, but are not limited to, providing support and maintenance for in-house identify and access management system, generating and maintaining automation tasks, managing email systems, and configuring systems to minimize security violations. An associate degree in computer science or a related discipline, or a technical certification such as MCSE or VSP, is preferred. Four years of experience in computer technology and three years in systems administration is required. The ability to work in a team environment is required.
