Building Automation System Application Engineer
Elon University is seeking a Building Automation System Application Engineer. This position is responsible for the oversight, care and maintenance of all university maintained building automation controls, and energy management systems. The position oversees and maintains Elon’s web-based Energy/Utilities Dashboard through Automated Logic WebCTRL; and provides routine reviews, updates, and reports on campus utilities and building status through· Auto mated Logic Energy Reports. Also includes systems based on Johnson Controls, Trane (Tracer, Tracker}, Daiken, Mitsubishi, Centralite, and Tridium.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology, or equivalent 4-yr technical degree in HVAC, Computer Science, Industrial Automation or related field or minimum 6 years of industry related technical field experience including working with HVAC systems, DDC systems, software control systems, and device calibration
Minimum of 5 years of BAS / DDC controls experience, WebCTRL experience preferred
- Experience in utilizing building automation control front-end interfaces including Johnson Controls, Trane Tracer, Trane Tracker, Automatedlogic, Daiken, Mitsubishi, Centralite, and Tridium.
- Ability to install building automation controls with little involvement from an outside contractor, and integrate all reporting data to a web-based Energy/Utilities Dashboard is a must.
