Building Automation Controls Technician II

Elon University is currently accepting applications for a Building Automation Controls Technician II to provide support for the University’s Building Automation System (BAS). This includes startup commissioning of systems, automatic temperature control, lighting control and energy management. The Technician will assist in routine maintenance of existing DDC systems, and installation of control components. Verification of systems including point-to-point operation, database and programming operations to ensure proper sequencing of operations. Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of MS/TP and IP networks to include 3rd party integration. Implement energy conservation projects. One year trade school certification in HVAC, Computer Science, Industrial Automation or related field required.
