Executive Vice President for Growth and Culture
DePaul Community Resources seeks an experienced Executive Vice President for Growth and Culture. The Executive Vice President (EVP) must be a mission-focused, seasoned, strategic, and process-minded leader with experience scaling an organization, leading an executive management team, and developing a performance culture among a group of diverse, talented individuals. The EVP must have demonstrated experience supporting others to deliver measurable, cost-effective results that make the vision a reality. The ability to align short- and long-term goals is essential. The EVP will have the skills, sensitivity, and confidence to tap into the power that each member of the team brings to this mission. While it is essential that the EVP bring efficient and effective systems to increase the productivity of the organization, is it also critical that the team retain the creative spark that drives the mission and vision of DePaul. Reporting to the President/CEO, the EVP will lead all internal operations, providing support and supervision to the two Division Vice Presidents (Child/Family and Developmental Disabilities), the Director of Human Resources, and to the Director of Quality/Compliance. The EVP is responsible for ensuring sustainable and targeted growth of the organization according to our strategic and operating plans and continued improvement to our internal culture as we scale our operations. DePaul believes that internal and external growth go hand-in-hand and refuses to sacrifice one for the other.
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization. The ideal candidate will have experience scaling a multi-site organization with an unwavering commitment to cultural health. Superior communication skills are a must the ability and willingness to communicate in multiple formats and to listen attentively to all stakeholders is critical to this role. The role also requires a willingness to lead and follow to exercise both authority and vulnerability, and to demonstrate humility and an eagerness to learn. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of comfort delegating tasks and authority. A Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field is required; an advanced degree with leadership and/or design thinking training is preferred. A minimum of five years of experience in an executive role is required, and work experience both in and outside of the human services field is preferred.
