Director of Institutional Planning, Effectiveness and Research
DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL PLANNING, EFFECTIVENESS AND RESEARCH #FA004
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Serving as the institutional effectiveness and assessment coordinator, the Director works closely with the Vice President of Academic and Student Services and the Assistant Vice President of Workforce Services.
- Serving as the College’s SACSCOC Liaison, leading efforts on campus to be fully compliant with accreditation requirements;
- Leading the institution in data-informed decision-making with a focus on identifying strategies to improve student success, tracking/evaluating impact of college success initiatives and working with faculty to provide direction/leadership in statistical analysis of results and dissemination of results;
- Serving as the College’s reports coordinator (e.g., generating, analyzing and disseminating data to all appropriate internal and external entities)
- Developing and maintaining the College’s strategic plan and overseeing related data collection and analysis; (6)
- Performing other job-related functions as may be assigned by the President. The Director reports directly to the College president.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree required.
- Past experience in planning, research, and institutional effectiveness (or equivalent private sector experience) and outcomes assessment expected.
- Experience with institutional reaccreditation process is highly desirable. A commitment to the community college mission is required; community college experience preferred.
- Experience with statistical analysis packages preferred, as is experience with student management systems (SIS/PeopleSoft).
