This is an exciting opportunity in Rocky Mount, North Carolina for an Assembly/Test/Paint/Upfit Technician.

- Operate automated machinery to meet high volume production cycle time
- Perform such functions as quality checks, preventative and minor corrective maintenance, skill acquisitioning and skill sharing
- Work efficiently with other team members, and work groups to accomplish team and organizational goals
- Must be willing to and able to express ideas effectively in individual and group situations
- Must practice safety, quality and housekeeping awareness as per Team Standards
- Must be able to learn and participate in all job tasks within the team
- Understand and support all 5S activities on your team
- Must have work hour flexibility to meet customer needs; to include shift rotations
- Frequent use of extremities required
- Must be able to lift one to forty-five pounds frequently and seventy-five pounds or more infrequently with assistance
- Continuous standing and bending
- Must be able to work with oils, greases, and cleaners
Assembly Operators are responsible for installing components and parts in a quality manner in order to manufacture diesel engines
- Test Operators perform harnessing and de-harnessing operations
- Paint Operators are responsible for masking, de-masking, and painting of engines
- Upfit Operators install the accessory parts on the engine
Qualifications
- Education, Licenses, Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required
- 2 years manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of diesel engines and its components is a plus
- Experience using hand tools
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret tooling and product process documentation
- Must pass all required testing

Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience .
