IT-Vice President, Messaging Middleware Support (Research Triangle Park, NC): Develop &
deploy enhancements & new releases to Messaging Middleware Platform using IBM WebSphere
Message Broker, IBM WebSphere MQ, & TIBCO EMS on Windows NT, Linux, Solaris, Unix,
OS/390, AS/400 & VAX/VMS. Troubleshoot technical issues with Messaging Middleware
Platform & perform root cause analysis & capacity planning to support & maintain
operational systems. Monitor & ensure stability of production environments & messaging
systems & provide support to application developers. Define disaster recovery
environments & plans & monitor production & user acceptance testing to ensure performance
& high availability of Messaging Middleware Platform. Create technical documentation
covering change procedures, support procedures, & operational manuals. Improve
administration & monitoring processes for Messaging Middleware Platform to guide support
staff & users. Analyze impact of annual data center powerdowns, quarterly maintenance
windows, disaster recovery tests & major releases to plan for support & drive recovery
activities for applications. Handle incident & problem management, ensuring all issues &
outages are tracked & have appropriate visibility to both senior IT management &
development leads. Req's Master's degr plus 4 yrs exp or Bachelor's degr plus 6 yrs
