IT-Vice President (Morrisville, NC): Work on IT architecture enhancements & design changes in electronic trading systems covering equities, derivatives, & FX asset classes. Support electronic trading platform development projects covering communication between electronic order management systems & Exchange links using FIX protocol for low latency, electronic trading infrastructure. Facilitate project planning using Agile techniques. Design & implement new features per business requirements using object-oriented design, C++, TCP/IP network communication, & Linux. Monitor daily stand-up, DevOps, iteration planning, sprint review, & iteration retrospective. Create or analyze business requirement documents & project timelines. Guide the team in time-estimating practices & facilitate team estimates. Deliver on execution, communicate with management & stakeholders, & help the team to define scope of work. Ensure operational excellence by assessing risk & control throughout the entire technology stack. Maintain team data in project management software to support estimates & execution. Collaborate with offshore development teams to implement business requirements in systems. Req’s Master’s degr plus 3 yrs exp or Bachelor’s degr plus 6 yrs exp.
