IT-Assistant Vice President (Morrisville, NC): Assess the software development lifecycle (SDLC) of projects & programs. Handle risk analysis, planning, & approvals for late admissions into scheduled releases & for all changes not in a scheduled release. Monitor risks, issues, & dependencies of complex releases for applications with a client server, cloud, or distributed software architecture in a Linux/Unix or Windows environment. Develop & maintain release notes & go-live plans leveraging the use of automated deployment tools embracing DevSecOps. Ensure projects meet entry criteria for regression testing. Submit release documents & plans using Atlassian Jira & Confluence to review documentation & components to be deployed (SQL changes & XML for Control M changes) & properly submit requests for change using ServiceNow. Track status of Waterfall & Agile releases. Monitor post go-live issues & perform statistical analysis. Participate in post release reviews with all stakeholders & document lessons learned. Ensure that releases comply with SOX regulations & compliance processes set up by the organization. Release status reports published quarterly to senior management & key business stakeholders.
