6 Temporary Full Time Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers Positions.
Work site(s): Provided daily transportation to and from the worksite; begin in Johns Island, Charleston County, SC 29455 at $12.90 per hour Continue into the county(ies) of Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, SC; Charleston-North Charleston, SC MSA. April 1, 2019 - December 15, 2019.
Possible Duties: mow, edge, lawn care, mulch, aerate, weed, grub, remove thatch, trim, edge around flower beds, walks, or walls, water. Gather, remove litter, remove dead, damaged, unwanted debris; also may include: planting grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs, watering lawn & other relate.
Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers activities per SOC/OES 37-3011.
- Must show proof of legal authority to work in U.S.
- Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone.
Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 40 lbs. No minimum education requirement On the Job Training. All applicants must be willing, qualified to perform work described and available for entire period specified.
$12.90 per hour Overtime $19.35 per hour, Depending on experience. Possible daily/weekly hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. 40+ (plus) to include lunch break Mondays-Fridays. Possible weekend/holiday work. (Overtime possible, not required/guaranteed. If Overtime is worked, wage paid at rate of time & a half per hour worked beyond 40 hours per week.) Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime and/or Overtime. Overtime available, not required. Employer will comply with all applicable federal, state & local laws pertaining to Overtime hours.
Transport: Will provide/pay cost of worker return transport, subsistence from work site to place from which worker departed to work for employer if worker completes period of employment or dismissed from employment before end of work period above. Transport and subsistence will be provided for cost from place from which worker has come to work for employer, whether in U.S. or abroad, to place of employment. Guaranteed offered work hours at least 3/4's of workdays each 12 per week period of total employment period. Use/maintain of employer provided tools/equipment/supplies at no cost/deposit.
