The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the industry.
Primary Responsibilities: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the industry.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or its equivalent plus five years of supervisory experience with automated accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs. Master’s degree preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly preferred. Must have knowledge of federal programs, strong organizational and communication skills.
