Success Coach (Project HELP Grant)
Full-Time, Kearney Close Date: 1-31-19
A Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services or a related
field required. Must have an understanding of case management and working with low-income individuals as typically acquired through a minimum of two
years experience. Most possess analytical and interpersonal skills to solve problems and work with students, staff, faculty and community partners. Must be able to work
independently as well as on a team and maintain accurate records. Requires some travel. The Success Coach will provide intensive case management for grant
participants in health science programs. Responsibilities include: determining eligibility for the grant, case management throughout the
program, tracking progress and services provided and partnering with college and community resources. Position involves one-on-one coaching as well as
group presentations. This is a grant funded position through September 29, 2020.
Electrical Mechanical Coordinator/Trainer
Full-Time, Area Wide (all 25 counties) - Close Date: 1-31-19
Requires an Associate’s degree with three years of related occupational experience in a manufacturing or processing facility. Additional, preference will be given to
individuals who are familiar with industrial controls, electrical, mechanical, and automated manufacturing and instrumentation processing systems. Requires
a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems found\ in automated manufacturing or food processing facilities. Experience
developing and/or delivering training programs would be beneficial, but not necessary. Individual should have strong computer skills both
with hardware and software along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be detail oriented and willing to travel. CCC
will provide training on how to be an instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching
short term industrial training programs in small groups (ex: Basic Electrical, Motor Controls, Mechanical Systems, PLC’s and Mechatronics) to Business and
Industry. The position will have area-wide responsibilities.
Administrative Assistant/ Data Entry Clerk
Part-Time, Grand Island - Close Date 1/31/19
Associate’s degree preferred with at least one year of related work experience. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Must be comfortable working
with students from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential in order to communicate by e-mail and complete a variety of word
processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation and report generation tasks. Individual will be responsible for data entry of Adult Education students
including demographic, assessment and attendance records into the Nebraska Department of Education database LACES (Literacy, Adult, and Community
Education System). Duties include data entry into LCES. Will compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Must be a detail oriented self-starter with
advanced organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks and adapting quickly to change.
Groundskeeper
Part-Time, Hastings - Close Date: 1/31/19
A high school diploma/GED is required and 0-2 years of related experience is preferred. Will assist with all facets of the College Campus grounds-keeping, including: mowing,
weeding, weed whacking, assist with underground sprinkler repair, tree trimming, table/chair set ups, snow removal operations and other duties assigned by Facilities
Management. This is a year-round, part-time (25 hours/week) position.
