We are seeking experienced servers for the Capital City Chop House located in Morrisville, NC near the airport. Excellent earning potential and flexible hours. Dinner shift only. Closed on Sundays. 


Candidates with a minimum of two years of upscale dining preferred, but we are willing to train those that are willing to learn. Please apply online at, or in person after 4pm Monday through Friday. We look forward to meeting you.  

Position reports to Assistant Manager or General Manager




Complete training program and pass tests

Come to work on time and prepared for your shift in proper uniform

Greet Guest and Follow Steps of Service (as outlined in training manual)

Present Check and Collect payment

Check identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic 


Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware

Fold napkins, set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties.

Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests.

Assist with food running

Complete running side work and end of shift side work

Cash out with manager providing all necessary documents (credit card slips, house charges)





Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls

Standing or walking for long periods of time (4-6  hours per shift)

Lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds
