CAD Technician -
With minimal supervision and guidance, the CAD Technician is responsible for creating Facility location maps, equipment layouts, process flow diagrams, update existing drawings to as-builts, evacuation maps, etc. Must be able to identify existing equipment in a food production facility. Must be proficient in AutoCAD or Inventor.
Responsibilities and Duties
Proficient computer skills in windows based software, AutoCAD, Inventor, Word and Excel for developing spreadsheet. Good organizational skills. Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology. Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
Qualifications and Skills
Associate degree or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school or, 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training or, equivalent combination of education and experience in the Food and Beverage or manufacturing field.
