Project Manager
ASU Preparatory Academy, sponsored by Arizona State University, is an innovative K-12 charter school. Our mission is to provide premium environments for learning, helping all students become innovative leaders and problem solvers who are prepared for success in college and their preferred careers. The Project Manager will work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to plan, direct, organize, and execute against project requirements for the ASU Preparatory Academies; identify and acquire necessary resources and coordinate efforts by all parties to ensure timely delivery of quality project outcomes in accordance with expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or related field
- Five (5) years of project management or related experience
- Experience managing multiple complex, technology-based projects simultaneously.
- Experience with project management in education highly preferred, but not required.
- Certification in PMP or CSM.
- Experience with PeopleSoft
- Experience with Learning Management System(s).
- Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate tasks with multiple stakeholders within the university to achieve a seamless multi-integration of learning management, human resource, student information, and financial management solutions.
- Plan, develop, implement, and manage a project team through complete task definitions and work requirement identification and assignments.
- Work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, budget, and outcomes; identify critical resource expertise and target appropriate internal and/or external sources to ensure optimal outcome(s).
- Establish and continually manage project expectations with team through consistent monitoring to mitigate project risk; assign tasks and identify issues for resolution to ensure optimal team effectiveness.
- Prepare and maintain all project status reports and schedules; track milestones and deliverables, critical paths and dependencies; reassess expectations as needed in consideration of project progress and outcomes.
- Respond to all inquiries regarding project status; prepare and respond to all regulatory reporting and filings to ensure compliance.
- Manage, coach, and supervise all project team members, both internal and contracted to ensure optimal outcomes; builds, develops, and maintains relationships vital to project success.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, leadership, and other related staff to define and identify all required project infrastructure including, but not limited to: space, build/reconfiguration of facilities, equipment, technology and infrastructure to ensure timely availability for successful launch and ongoing project operations.
- Plan and determine resource needs for successful completion of project.
prepare all post-project reports, budget allocations and summaries and filings to ensure timely dissemination of information to all interested parties. - Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
