Civil Cad Engineer

NC Engineering firm in Rocky Mount/Wilson area seeking an experienced  Civil and Structural CAD Tech to work with Engineers. The ideal candidate should be hardworking and self motivated.

 Duties/Responsibilities of Position:

• Preparation of Civil Engineering plans related to Residential, Commercial and Industrial development
• Preparation of Survey plans such as basemaps, etc.
• Structural drafting
• Maintain CAD design standards
• Operate computer-assisted design software and drafting workstation

 Experience/Education Required/Desired:

• 3+ years AutoCAD Experience - AutoCAD 2015 or newer is preferred, however any earlier versions is satisfactory for this position
• Knowledge and experience with Civil3D, GIS, Carlson or Revit a bonus
• Drafting Certificate from Technical Institute a bonus
• Must be able to work in a team environment and take direction
• Working knowledge of office productivity software such as Acrobat Standard, Microsoft Office, Scanning and reproduction software, and file management
• Strong time management skills
• Able to meet multiple deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Portfolio required
